In pursuit of
the WILL Forum mandate, for
ensuring that Corporate India
has the opportunity for
leveraging the talent of women
executives for their
boardrooms-- and that women find
the qualifications they need to
be nominated to serve on company
boards-- the WILL Forum will be
holding the "3rd WILL Women on
Corporate Board Series," on
November 26, in Mumbai.
We are most
privileged to have IFC-World
Bank as our active partner
and host on this excellent
initiative, and the meeting will
be led by Martin Steindl,
Corporate Governance Officer,
IFC, in Mumbai. Joining us
also will be Sammy Medora,
Chairman, KPMG Audit Committee,
to lead some of the mentoring
sessions.
This will be
another pioneering initiative
from the distinguished WILL
Forum -- that will ensure that
corporate India is able to
provide good corporate
governance to its boardrooms,
that recognizes equal
opportunity and leveraging
diversity as a critical
component of best practices for
company boards that aim to build
lasting and sustainable
companies.
The meeting
