WILL Mentees: Batch of 2010
Custodians of the future of Corporate India

There could be no better validation of the high dynamism, authentic talent, deep passion, driving capability, and willingness to take custodianship among the senior women executives of corporate India -- than the true leadership they showed at the "WILL Creating Women Business Leaders Progam: 2010," held for 5-days with knowledge partner Tata Mangement Training Center, May 10-14, in Pune.

As the bright women executives working at companies like GE India, IBM, Microsoft, Tata Consultancy Services, Mahindra Group, Dr. Reddys, KPMG, Tata Steel, Tata Teleservices, Accenture, Genpact, Tata Capital, Zensar Technologies, ONGC, Bharti Enterprises, Citigroup, came together for understanding and building the rewards of "balanced leadership" for best business performance for future markets -- they clearly had a wide sensitivity to the "Challenges of Corporate India" in the coming months.

When the WILL Mentees divided themselves into WILL Groups -- and named themselves "Alchemy," "Chrysalis," "Transformers," and "Venus" -- it is easy to recognize the priorites on their minds for impacting and nurtuing an eco-system in the workplace that will be substantially "different" from what presently exists in traditional business formats in organizations and companies in India and worldwide.

Further, the WILL Mentees chose the following as the "Key Corporate Challenges" for their Group Leadership exercise, and it was a sheer delight for the WILL Jury to listen to their presentations on the following:

  • Building Societal Business Leaders
  • Creating Balanced Leadership
  • Sustaining High Performance Teams
  • Tranforming Senior Women Executives into Industry Leaders

The WILL Mentees will be presenting their accomplished group-work at the 3rd Annual "WILL 2010 Women in Leadership Conference" on October 28-29, in Mumbai --and it will be our privilege to listen and learn.

These smart and distinguished women will be the custodians of corporate India' future -- and the WILL Forum is committed to nurturing more such women leaders for business and society in the coming months.
